Spark Street Analysts
Selected past and current analysts who have contributed to Spark Street's work.
Spark Street engages with a select group of young professionals to provide hands-on experience in data analysis and policy development. Most have either recently finished or are currently enrolled in a post-graduate program, transitioning careers or re-entering the workforce.
Analysts perform a range of activities including secondary data analysis, policy analysis, literature reviews, interviews, survey design and administration, and synthesis of results. The team at Spark Street provides mentoring, career advice and facilitates connections to the broader public health community. Current Analysts
Tara Sangal
Tara's background is in epidemiology, data science, and climate and health. At Spark Street, she is conducting focus groups and quantitative data analysis, developing study protocols for a research paper, and conducting a post-hoc analysis. Tara's work bridges the gaps between evidence generation, communication and advocacy. She has a master's degree in public health from Columbia University and speaks Spanish and French.

Kimberley Peek
Kimberly's background is infectious diseases and biomedical sciences. At Spark Street, Kimberley conducted data and policy analysis to support data-driven strategy development. She managed data collection, research, and evidence reviews, synthesized findings, and supported project logistics, including surveys and interviews.
Taran K. Deol
Taran's background is in global health policy and journalism. At Spark Street she developed a zero draft monitoring framework for the pandemic treaty, created guidance for assessing HPV vaccination for out-of-school girls in Ethiopia, and conducted literature reviews on climate change and health, adolescent health, wellbeing, and gender.
Neena Joshi
Neena's background spans global health governance, universal health coverage, and international development. At Spark Street she conducted literature and policy document reviews, and developed case studies based on learning organizations, HIV, and strategies to reach out-of-school girls with health interventions.
Daniela-Filipa Soltan
Daniela-Filipa's background is in social justice, inclusivity, gender, and anti-racism. At Spark Street she contributed to policy research and analysis in global public health.
Jenna Bhimani
Jenna's background is in clinical medicine and public health research, focusing on cancer control. At Spark Street she contributed to literature reviews and presentations on topics such as global health and child health.
Jingyi Song
Jingyi's background is in health policy. At Spark Street she contributed to health policy research and analyses, including topics on global public health data and drug access.
Jennifer Fearon
Jennifer's background is in supporting health policy development and action to advance health equity. At Spark Street she conducted literature and data syntheses, including on women's health and health access topics.
Saba Rouhani
Saba's background is in disease epidemiology and the social determinants of health. At Spark Street she produced policy briefs, managed health communications, and engaged with stakeholders.
Hannah Cooper
Hannah's background is in public health medicine, noncommunicable disease prevention and health protection. At Spark Street she contributed to literature reviews and policy evaluations on noncommunicable disease and prevention of road traffic accidents.
Tiffany Nassiri-Ansari
Tiffany's background is in social sciences with a focus on gender and global health. At Spark Street, she conducted literature reviews and research across women's health, gender, adolescent health, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and data. She supported evidence synthesis and data analysis to inform research and strategy development, contributing to rigorous, well-documented research outputs.
Jonathan Reynolds
Jonathan's background is in global health, international development, and research management. At Spark Street he provided analyses on official development assistance (ODA) and foreign aid trends, and assessed political, economic, social, and technological impacts on global health.
Lynda Gilby
Lynda's background is in sexual and reproductive health and rights and health policy research. At Spark Street she worked on pandemic preparedness and response, contributing analysis to inform on the Treaty process and policy development.
Layth Hanbali
Layth's background is in medicine, global health, and health policy research. At Spark Street he contributed to a range of projects through data analysis, literature review, and policy analysis, supporting work on international health priorities.
Madelyn B. Goodman
Madelyn's background is in research on women's health and development. At Spark Street she supported systematic literature reviews as well as development of policy documents.
Jana Martic
Jana's background is in knowledge transfer and supporting health program evaluation. At Spark Street she contributed to research, strategy development, and evaluation of global health organizations, as well as supported COVID-19 related analyses and systematic reviews.
Lea Giddins
Lea's background is in international affairs and urban policy. At Spark Street, she supported the development of literature reviews, articles, and reports.
Saman Rouhani
Saman's background is in health policy research with a focus on economics. At Spark Street he focused on monitoring and evaluation in several target countries and client social media.
Anne Linn
Anne's background is in global health, with particular expertise in household surveys, malaria, and community health. At Spark Street, she developed policy briefs on the integration of non-communicable disease prevention and treatment into infectious disease and maternal and child health programs for the WHO Global coordination mechanism on the prevention and control of NCDs.
