Initiatives on Reimagining Global Health Architecture: A Primer

With the Sustainable Development Goals ending in less than five years and drastic cuts to global health funding, pressure to reform global health architecture, governance, and financing has grown. This primer summarizes five texts that set out visions, principles, and concrete proposals for reform: the Lusaka Agenda, the Wellcome Trust's regional discussion papers, the Functions of the Global Health System in a New Era comment, the Gavi Leap, and the Accra Initiative. It takes no position on the proposals and is intended as a simplified cheat sheet for colleagues following these discussions.
