An 'impact hub' approach to transforming global maternal health outcomes by 2030
Preventing maternal mortality remains a persistent global challenge. Eliminating preventable deaths requires more than isolated success stories, it demands a coordinated, systemic approach rooted in equity, local solutions, and sustainable partnerships. As part of Brookings Institution's annual 17 Rooms flagship initiative, this piece explores how 'impact hubs' could serve as a bold new model to bring funders, governments, and local partners together to accelerate progress on maternal health.
