HPV Vaccination in Out-of-school Context

HPV vaccination programs worldwide have primarily deployed school-based delivery strategies, with very little effort to reach girls who are temporarily or permanently out of school or beyond school age. This global synthesis reviews non-school delivery strategies in low- and middle-income countries for girls aged 9-19, and, with Ethiopia as a frontrunner country, develops an assessment tool to identify entry points, partners, and new approaches for reaching out-of-school girls with HPV vaccinations.
